DAY 142

SUNDAY MAY 22ND

So the world was supposed to end yesterday. It didn't. Are you surprised? I'm not. The guy "Harold Camping" is a QUACK!

My husband and I made a surprise trip to visit my in-laws. My dad let us know last minute that they would be leaving out late sunday afternoon. So we made a trip to Crystal River. It was very relaxing and it was good to see Andi and Stef. Andi was very surprised =)

Nothing new has been happening in our lives. We just enjoy every chance we get to be together... The good and the ugly. Yes we have our moments of frustration with each other (we are human).

I can't believe that  we have been married almost 8 months now! Man time sure has flown by. We are currently looking at cruises to take for our anniversary. Still debating if we want to take the kids with us. If we do take the kids we will see if my parents and in-laws will tag along with us. If not is will be a really short cruise! LOL.... I dont think I could stand to be away from them all for too long. My husband and I could sure use the time alone together though! Sometimes I sit and wonder what it would be like without having any kids. Where my life would be right now.  I think these kiddos saved me a lot of trouble that I could have gotten myself into!!

Well that pretty much sums things up for now. I really need to get back to the 1 a day blogs. I WILL TRY!!

LOL the billboard that went up today.

Day 121....

This morning I worked in the nursery at church. We only had 2 kids besides my 2 so it was fairly easy!! After church we came home and took a nap.... the girls have been really demanding lately... it seems like every time I turn around someone needs fed.  I realize this is part of parenting but when im alone and have no help its kind of difficult. I just need a break. I really need to just get away with just Anthony and I.  Really looking forward to my mother-in-law getting back into the states b/c she will be getting a phone call =)..... Having 3 children under 3 yrs old is really draining sometimes. All 3 kids need my love and attention. Jadon especially.  When 2 kids are content usually the 3rd one is needing something... Its honestly a 24 hour job. I love being a mom. Probably one of the greatest rewards EVER! I'm just needing a break. That's All.

Day 120....

WOW!! Can you believe it's almost May?!? Seriously where is the time going? Well nothing new really happening here. Same ol' goodness. =)  Today is a cleaning day for the Longshore clan. Stripped all the sheets.... About 5 loads of laundry to get washed. Some sanitizing to be done so that none of my kids get sick since something is going around. Sanitized all the bottles. Gonna re-organize a few things and go through lots of stuff that will be put in the yard sale.  Yep a busy day ahead for sure! Not quite sure how im finding time to write this LOL.....
The girls are growing and are very healthy! Their 2 month check up is next week. (OMGoodness in 10 months they will be a yr old!) YIKES!..... Both of the girls have developed some type of rash on their faces... kinda looks like heat rash but it comes and goes... not sure whats causing it.... Jadon is pretty good (when he wants to be) Still having a horrible time with the potty training. I would gladly pay someone to potty train this kid!  He's getting to smart for his own britches. it just amazes me some of the things he says... Im like huh?? How old are you??
Plans are still to move to Georgia in August.... Needing to start looking at places but its kinda hard when I cant travel there to look when i have 3 kids. Hoping God will open some doors for us in that area.
We started attending a new church called Faith Assembly. We are still going to the Sanctuary as well. F.A. has different service times on different days.... And they seem to have a little bit more of what Anthony and I are looking for such as men and womens groups, young adults group, and so forth.... They are pretty much like the sanctuary and actually a lot of people I went to church with at the "old" sanctuary on 15-A attend that church. I feel this will give me more opportunity to help with the nursery at the sanctuary on sundays and tuesday and still be able to get church in and still be dedicated to a ministry for the time we have left here in florida.

so precious!

DAY 101....SLACKER

So let me just go ahead and apologize for not keeping up with my blog! Time just slips away and I really don't know where it goes. Right now at 2:45pm on Monday afternoon all three of my kids are sleeping. I have worship music playing and the house is completely cleaned! This is my "break" for the day. I should probably be sleeping as well to do some catching up on what I have lost. But so far today I have made 2 sugar free lattes and  im fixing to have a 3rd one! This coffee has kept me on my toes!
So is being a mother of 3 hard you ask?? Well yes and no. For the most part the girls sleep all the time. Lydia is the crier. She will cry just to cry. Most of the time she just wants to be held, but as you can tell there are other duties in the house to get done as well. I only have 2 hands you know. But my sweet friend Krystal sent me a package with lots of goodies. One of those goodies was an infant carrier. You know the kind where the baby sits in front of you and you wear the straps?? Ya that kind =) Well today I discovered that its Lydias favorite new thing. It's great! I can carry her around and still do my chores.... And when Ava needs attention my hands are free.  The girls have been doing very well with feedings... The other night they went to bed at 8pm and I didnt have to get up until 6:30am with them. If we swaddle them tight they sleep right through the night. Ava has had some mucus issues and my husband and i were almost positive that it was an environmental issue... Well the AC guy came out today to check on the AC b/c it hasnt been cooling down in the house and also we havent been able to find where the filter goes. Well the AC guy found the filter and it was NASTY!!! Hadn't been changed in ages!! That was probably our issue! We shall see.
Jadon is doing well. I have learned that I need to be more stern with him. As a mother I have a sweet spot with him. He is the 1st kid and holds a special place close to mommies heart. I give in a lot when I shouldnt and I let him get away with things when I should really be disciplining him. He is so well behaved with Anthony and loves anthony to death! But the difference between Anthony and I is that Anthony is stern and sticks to what he says. Jadon always knows that Anthony is being serious and Jadon knows that he can get away with things with me. Well not anymore.... And the last 2 days I have been doing good =) And Jadon still loves me. When I told him it was nap time today he got right in his bed and went to sleep.
Going out with all 3 kids alone is quite a challenge.... It wouldnt be so bad if Jadon were a little older but he is only 2 and when he sees that my hands are full he knows how to push his limits. I am busy feeding 3 mouths and changing diapers along with all the other chores I have to do and giving all 3 children the attention that they need. My girls are already 5 weeks old and I just dont know where the time has gone!
A huge disappointment this past week was my milk drying up. Come to find out, you shouldn't take birth control while breast feeding. I had no clue! And I'm really disappointed that Dr. Rashada failed to inform me. But I guess life goes on. The girls got at least a month of breast milk so I guess that is better than none at all.........
Well I will try and keep my blog updated as much as possible. Not only for those that enjoy reading them but for myself as well! lol I cant even remember what I did last week. So having a blog is a good reminder for me!

Day 86

My baby girls are finally home. Ava came home on march 22 and Lydia came home on march 24th.... Today they are 3 weeks old. We didnt even have Ava home 24 hours and Jadon kneed her in the head and we had to take her to the ER for a cat scan. Every thing turned out fine though. Both girls are eating every 3 to5 hours. Although last night both girls went 8 hours without eating and finally I just woke them up to feed them. Our girls are pretty laid back just like Jadon was. I hope it stays this way =) Today was their first sunday at church and they did very well!! My mother in-law is staying with me this week and she has been a huge help! We completely rearranged the kitchen, all the closets and the girls room.... Anthonys mom is really good at organizing things!!

So other than that things are pretty good. I finally feel good after the surgery... Their is hardly even a scar. You would never know I had a c-section. The cellulitis around the incision is almost completely gone (PTL!)....

We are settled in at home and enjoying every minute of it. Still hard to believe that we have 3 children!

Day 79....

So life as we all know it has been super crazy, busy, and hectic these passed couple of weeks.  I have not been able to update my blog everyday but I try and keep people as informed as possible through facebook.  This morning I had all intentions on going to church. Woke up, pumped, showered, then fell back asleep. My husband said he was pretty exhausted as well.  So Jadon and I didnt end up getting up until 10:30!! It felt sooo good to sleep in. Today I didnt make it up to see the girls. I needed a day to just relax and have nothing to worry about. Today was that day!  Tomorrow they are going to do a car seat test on them to make sure they pass it in order to go home. Ava is doing GREAT! She is now 4lbs 14 oz. She has taken every bottle by mouth for the passed 3-4 days. Lydia on the other hand is progressing a little bit slower. She is now 5lbs 7oz and takes 2 out of 3 bottles by mouth.  I honestly think they are feeding her too much. She is getting more than Ava, yet she isn't eating EVERYTHING on her own. She is sooo sleepy to get the rest down. I think they should cut back on how much they are giving her and just let her tell them when she is hungry. Ava is supposed to be getting her feeding tube out today since its not being used. I think its only a couple of days until Ava comes home but maybe a little longer for Lydia. I believe that Lydia is ok to come home as well but dr.'s will be dr.'s.... So that pretty much sums things up....
Jadon has been a pistol lately. Nothing unusual from what I have heard. He has grown so much in these passed few weeks as well. His vocabulary is much better as well as his sentences... He is actually making more sense when he talks lol  He definitely know how to test his father and I. He tries to push us to see how much he can actually get away with. But we arent backing down just because we have new additions to the family. There are still rules and he needs to follow them =) He is pretty good when we are in public which I am very proud of.... But behind closed doors he is a little stinker! lol
In just 10 days it will be the anniversary of when my husband proposed to me. It's unreal where this last year has taken us and the changes that have been made in both of our lives. We really thank God for everything he has done for us and for being there when we needed him the most.

Day 71-73....

Saturday we checked out of the Ronald Mcdonald House. We visited with the girls all day. Came home that evening, Anthony rubbed my feet and I passed out.

Sunday morning Anthony left to go to Ga. That morning I was getting ready for church while Jadon was still sleeping. I was completely ready before he even woke up. Must have been due to the time change. Once Jadon woke up I got him dressed and ready to go. While I was getting my bags packed to bring to the hospital later Jadon was in the living room (I thought he had put a movie in b/c he was being so quiet). I walk out into the dining room and Jadon has a black permanent marker scribbling all over our kitchen table. This occurred right as we needed to be walking out of the door to go to church. I held my composure and didn't get upset, beings that we only paid $50 for the table at a yard sale. I explained how he needed to not do those sorts of things and that daddy will be very upset when he sees it. So then we left for church. I tried dropping him off in his classroom but he broke down and started crying (like every other time I drop him off). But since things have been so hectic and such an emotional roller coaster this past week, I felt really bad leaving him. So I took him into service with me. Of course with him being only 2 he lasted through worship then he was ready to play. So we had to leave.
We went to the hospital to visit with the girls. Not even 5 minutes of being there he takes a pencil to the hospital floor. I cleaned it up and sat him in time out. I just didnt understand why he was behaving this way b/c he never does stuff like that. Then my mom, g-ma and aunt came up to visit. While they were there Jadon took a crayon to the hospital wall.  Now I'm thinking he is acting out b/c he has 2 new sisters that are getting all the attention. He was completely out of control that day!
Today, Monday, Jadon and I slept in. When we woke up I wasn't feeling very great. Later this afternoon I decided I couldnt take it any longer and had to go see the girls. I took jadon to my g-mas so she could keep him while I went to the hospital. My grand parents took him to the mall and let him play and he really enjoyed it. All evening he has been asking where "Branma" & Moo Pop are.

Update on the girls:
Lydia was placed back in her isolet b/c she was unable to keep her body temp up.
In order to go home right now the goal is to get into an open crib and maintain a good body temp and to eat on their own and gain weight. The girls get sooo sleepy and worn out from eating that when its time for their next feeding they just want to sleep.

Something cool:
This morning I thought about asking if I could bring a radio up to the hospital and play christian music for the girls.... Well when I walked into the hospital room this afternoon the nurse had the computer in their room on with z88.3 playing for them! How neat was that!  Come to find out their nurse goes to Northland Church... She shared many stories with me today about her experiences working at the hospital and things they see with children. Some of the stories were just heartbreaking! Its so good to know that a lady with such a kind and soft spirit was taking care of our girls. Every nurse we have had has been sooooo wonderful! Everytime I call to get an update they are so nice and tell me how much they just love the girls. Even when we have Jadon with us the nurses will play with him and color while we are holding the girls. The nurses have really made it easy on us and we are so thankful! We know that God has not forgotten about us, b/c even at the hospital he is there!

Beautiful Ava
Beautiful Lydia

Day 70.... SLEPT IN!!

This morning Anthony left the RMH around 6:45 to get back to Deland to help my dad load. Well I took advantage of getting some rest and slept in till 11am!! I went the entire night with out pumping and all morning. Lets just say that when I woke up I thought I was going to float away!!

We checked out of the RMH today. Since Anthony wasnt there I had to clean everything for check out. That was quite a task after having surgery!! Scrubbing the bath tub, vacuuming, stripping the beds... Yea I was a bit sore afterwards.

The girls are doing well. I was able to breast feed Lydia today and she did GREAT! Both girls are doing great without being on the oxygen. Lydia is no longer int he incubator. Ava was out but had to be put back in because her body temp. started to drop.  Today while Ava was getting her diaper changed, she obviously wasnt done doin her business. Well she pooped and it squirted to the OTHER side of her incubator!! lol Oh how I wish Anthony would have been changing that diaper!!

This evening when we got home I finished up all our laundry and cleaned the bathrooms. The only thing missing in the house are the girls.

Daddy, Jadon, and Lydia...
(Ava wasn't able to be out of her incubator today due to her body temp.)

Day 69.... still in NICU

THURSDAY March 10th:

Today has been a pretty good day. I'm pretty much over staying here in Orlando, but if I want to be right by my girls I have to. I cant wait to get home and sleep in my own bed again.

The girls are doing well. Ava is now in an open crib and is no longer on oxygen. Lydia is getting an open crib tomorrow and will be taken off of oxygen as well. Both of them girls are such fighters! They want to be home with mommy, daddy, and big brother!

Today my dad and my in-laws came up to visit. We had a nice time. We ate lunch in the cafeteria and I ended up passing out. I've been completely exhausted today! I think pumping every 2 hours is catching up with me. This evening Anthony and I went back up to see the girls. I fed Lydia while he fed Ava. After Lydias feeding I passed out again! Now that I have taken a shower I am completely awake. Go figure!  I'm still suffering pretty bad from pain. =(  I only have 2 doses of pain meds left so I have been trying to make do and not take them when I should. I called the dr that delivered the girls and of course she didnt call me back.  Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow or I might just die!

Day 68.... Update on the girls

Wednesday March 9th:

Today we received ALL good reports on the girls. I can't thank God enough for it. There are no signs of infections... All antibiotics have been stopped. Both of their breathing is very good. They both took a bottle for the 1st time today. Mommy and Daddy were able to hold them pretty much all day it was GREAT! So hopefully it wont be too much longer that the girls are staying here at the hospital. I am really ready to get them home!!

Day 65... BABIES!

Sunday March 6th:

We had our babies!!! =D

At midnight on Sunday March 6th I was having some pretty rough pains in my stomach. I went to sleep to try and sleep it off. Woke up again at 2am and the pains were worse. My husband kept asking what was wrong and if I was ok.... and I told him no. That I needed to go to the hospital. My husband was supposed to leave for Georgia at 4am so we were in a dilema on what to do. We ended up going to Deland Hospital b/c it was only 10 minutes from our house and our gas light was on. I was in too much pain to have to go all the way to Daytona. We get to the hospital and find out that I am 3cm dialated and 30% effaced. They gave me a shot to stop labor but it didn't help. The dr. on call got there about an hour or so later and when she checked I was 5cm and 80% effaced. They were going to let me leave and go to halifax, but it was already too late. Labor was progressing way too quickly. At almost 5am they let me know that they were going to go ahead and do the c-section. THANK GOD ANTHONY DIDN'T GO TO GEORGIA!!!

Ava was born at 6:23am and weighed 4.10lbs (we thought it was 4.6 but they corrected her weight after everything was in the computer) and she is 17 1/2 inches long. Lydia was born right after weight 5.1lbs and she is 18 1/2 inches long. Ava is the spitting image of Jadon and I when we were babies. She has very little light colored hair and very fair skin. Lydia looks just like Anthony with a head full of very dark hair and olive colored skin. They are both soooo precious!

Both girls are being closely monitored and are hooked up to oxygen. Their lungs are not fully developed yet. They have transferred them to Orlando, while I have to stay at deland hospital. I was told that they will most likely discharge me tomorrow as long as everything stays good throughout the night. I am in pretty severe pain even with the pain meds. Tomorrow we will most likely be staying at the Ronald Mcdonald House and continue to stay there as long as we feel the need to. Friends and family are allowed to visit as long as Anthony or I am there. Grandparents are allowed to visit whenever they want to. No kids under the age of 16 are allowed in to see the girls. We are hoping that this will be a quick recovery for our girls since they seems to be doing very well. On a good note I will be able to recover while they are =)

I have to say having a c-section was pretty frightening. Much easier than a vaginal delivery but this recovery stuff SUCKS! lol My husband has been awesome through this all. He has waited on me hands and foot. He was also a trooper watching the entire delivery. I dont know how he stomached it! I am so thankful that the girls made it here! I was 34 weeks today. Our lives will never be the same without them. Double the fun, double the blessing, double the love. Our hearts are happy =)

Day 64.... Monkey Joes/Maternity Shoot

Saturday March 5th:

This morning we had a maternity shoot with Kristen. It was super fun! ...Waiting to see the pics.

We took Jadon to Monkey Joes to get some energy out. He had lots of fun!! Then we walked around the Outlet mall.

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

Day 61.....

Today we had lots of errands to run. We got a new vacuum cleaner which I am really excited about =) Anthony did some yard work this afternoon and then this evening I cooked dinner.... Now just updating my blogs lol

Our dog Harry outside while Anthony was doing some yard work
 Jadon helping Daddy
Jadon holding the pan while Daddy sweeps up the leaves

Day 60... Dr.'s appt.

Tuesday March 1st:

This morning I had my 33 wk. check up. My dr. went ahead and scheduled a c-section for the 1st week of April. She doesn't think that I will make it that far, but if I do make it that far then thats when they will take them. She gave me the choice of a vaginal delivery or a c-section and I went ahead and chose the c-section. I get so scared everytime I even think of my delivery with Jadon, that I just do not want to go through that again. Yea I had sucky nurses and a horrible dr. But this time I am having 2 babies and not 1. So many more things could go wrong and I dont want to put any more stress on the babies.  If I decide to change my mind then they will do whatever I want. Soooo i still have the other option.

I now have to see my dr. every week which is exciting. Im measuring at 42 weeks.

This afternoon they scheduled me to go have some testing done at halifax and also put me on the fetal monitor. Everything seemed fine.

Then this evening I watched the kiddos at church. =)

33 weeks

Day 59....

Monday Feb. 28th:

Today Jadon and I spent the day out and about with my grandmother. We went to Tuesday Mornings and found a couple things. They have a baby collection called Eleanor... Oh my goodness! I love the material of those clothes!! So I bought 2 sleep dresses for the girls for only $3.99 reg. $16.00!!

We then went and had lunch at Angelinas which was delish as always....
Later that afternoon we had to make a trip to Halifax b/c my baby girls hadnt moved all day and my dr was a little bit concerned. Everything was fine. =)

Sunday, February 27, 2011

Day 58.... church

This morning Jadon and I went to church. My husband is in georgia but should be home tomorrow night =) After church we went to my parents house b/c my g-ma is watching my brother while my mom is in England so we hung out with her for a bit. Jadon has been trying me ALL DAY. He is so defiant when Anthony isnt home and I just dont know how to deal with it or change how he is behaving. He wouldnt lay down and take a nap this afternoon and while he was in the room started pulling the stickers off the walls that my mom has up in his room. (I put them back)  He was in the room for 3 hours and still wouldnt go to sleep. I let him up at 4pm and fixed him a sandwich. He didnt eat it but decided he would pour his water all over the table. Now we are home and I put him to bed at 7pm. Needless to say, he still hasnt gone to sleep. I really hope that he cuts the crap before these girls are born. I dont know how much I can handle by myself with 2 infants and a defiant toddler. I really need the strength of GOD to get through this. Im hoping and praying that once the girls are here he will miraculously change and be a huge help. Maybe knowing he is a big brother will calm him down a little bit, I DONT KNOW! But like I said he DOES NOT act this way when his daddy is home. He is a totally different kid!  On another note, I'm officially 33 weeks. I see my dr. on tuesday and hopefully will be able to see some progress. If I dont have the babies within 3 weeks then they are going to put me on a fetal monitor.... That is scheduled for March 24th (If they arent here by then). Any point that my body decides to go into labor or start contracting they wont stop anything. So really it could be any day  and i'd be good =) I lost another 3 lbs which is exciting!! I dont know how either!  So yea im patiently waiting for their arrival. ;)

Day 57.... Dog Parade/beach/taxes

Saturday Feb. 26th:

This morning I woke Anthony up to go to the dog parade. We took Jadon and I think he really enjoyed it. A lady was nice enough to even let me sit in a chair that she had brought because she said I looked like I was ready to pop lol. The parade was fun and we saw many cute dogs!!

After that we went to Daytona. We went to some restaurant right next to the pier (I forgot the name of the place)... Well we sat there FOREVER before they even took our drink order and we were ready to order our food and she said she would be right back to get our order. Well we sat debating on if we were going to just get up and walk out b/c the service was terrible and it seemed like just 1 lady was running the whole place. We waited till she came back and asked to pay for our drinks that we were gonna go somewhere else. She apologized and said the drinks were on her. We got lunch else where then took Jadon to sun splash park.    One our way home Anthony stopped and got a bench so he could use it to lift weights. Got home and was too tired to do anything. Got online and realized that we received our tax return. We received a pretty good chunk back! Next year will be even better with 3 kids!! =)  Well the money went straight to savings b/c it will get used on a down payment for a house once we move to georgia.

Day 56... Loaded the truck

Friday Feb. 25th:

So yes, I am VERY aware that there are some days that I have skipped. Some simply b/c I forgot what even happened that day. I have been slacking on my picture taking as well. Some days I dont get a chance to update my blog so when I do get the chance I will do a couple days at once.

Today Anthony, Jadon and I went with my dad to load his truck. It took the majority of the day to do so. Once we finished Anthony took Jadon and I home so we could take a nap and then Anthony went and had the oil changed in our car and ran a couple other errands. Later this evening Conrad and Megan came over. Conrad and Anthony were originally going to train for a little bit but ended up running to the store for me to get salad dressing and by the time they got back dinner was already finished and the table was set, so we ate and then just watched a movie. I made hamburgers, fries, and salad. It was yummy =) And the movie we watched was 88 minutes. Very intense. It was my 2nd time seeing it. Im not a fan of those kind of movies b/c it brings fear into my life, but I suffered through and watched it anyhow.

Day 54.... Ultrasound

Today I had my 32 week ultrasound. My grandmother came with me as well which was exciting =)  Baby A weighed in at 4.4lbs and Baby B was 4.7lbs. Both babies are very healthy. There are plenty of fluids in their sacks as well. They scheduled me for my 36 week ultrasound for march 24th (if I make it that far). Both babies were very active and Baby A is no longer breech, which is a good thing.

Sunday, February 20, 2011

Day 51.... Officially 32 weeks

Well I am officially 32 weeks and have still only gained 40lbs. I feel like I have put on 100. I go in for an ultra sound on wednesday. They will be able to let me know how much the girls weigh.... If the girls are still gaining and growing at the same rate then they will let them stay in my tummy. If not then they have to come out because that means one of the babies has lost room to grow. They will also check the fluid in each sack. As long as there is plenty of fluid then we are still doing good. Last month the dr said that the fluid was great for twins so we shall see what this month holds.  Not too much longer and my girls will be here =) I cant wait to be mobile again!! Carrying 2 babies is sooooo much harder than 1!! I cant imagine how some women carry more!!

Day 50.... IKEA

SATURDAY Feb. 19th:

Today Anthony, Jadon and I went to IKEA. Weren't really expecting to buy anything. It was a beautiful day out so we figured we would go walk around somewhere. We get there and tons of things were on sale!! We were able to find 2 end tables for $7.99!! We have been looking for some end tables to go next to our bed, but just havent found anything we really liked for the price. Then we bought 2 lamps to go on top of them that are darling  for only $9.99!!  We have also been looking for a stand for our tv to go on but we havent really wanted to spend a chunk of change to get one either. Welp we found one for $19.99 and its way cute!! We also found a california king that we both REALLY liked!! So maybe that will be our next purchase =) I just really love the mattress that we have now that I dont want to give it up. BUT with 3 children, I know we are going to need a bigger bed =) With Anthony out of ton a lot Jadon sleeps in my room when he is gone and im afraid I will do the same with the girls lol....

After IKEA we went to the Festival Bay mall... The plan was to take Jadon to Monkey Joes... But we get there and there is a sign on the door saying that the place is reserved. So we couldnt let him in to play =( That was a huge bummer (so maybe next weekend)!!  We were going to then head to the outlets but I was way too tired to be walking around anymore. Especially when I am supposed to be on bed rest.

So we finished our night at Sweet Tomatoes. It was delicious as always!  So I would say it was a pretty good day!

This was on our way. lol Jadon put the glasses on himself and was totally oblivious to what he looked like LOL

This morning my sister gave birth to their 1st child. She lives in England with her husband.
They do things MUCH different in the UK.

Eloise looks just like Jadon when he was a baby. Watch out world we have another CROW!!!

48.... 1 yr anniversary

So a year ago today I made a decision that forever changed my life! .....
I received a phone call from a co-worker telling me that Anthony was arrested at work... Earlier that day Anthony just so happened to come into work early and I was on break. So we chatted.... He had been dating this girl for 11 years and it was not a healthy relationship. I had heard tons of stories previous due to us working together for 2 years.  He walked to work pretty much on a daily basis b/c they shared a vehicle and she would only let him use it when she was feeling nice. I would always offer to give him a ride but he would refuse due to what his g/f at the time would say. He pretty much walked on egg shells with her.
When I found out that Anthony was arrested I immediately thought that I needed to bail him out. At the time I was in a relationship.  But in my heart I knew I was supposed to go pick Anthony up. I told my mom and she was ok with it. I figured that she would have thought it was kind of strange but if she did she never expressed it.  When I got to the jail Anthony couldnt believe that I was the one to bail him out. He thought it might have been his g/f or his parents. But when he saw it was me he was pretty shocked. He called his mom and let her know that everything was ok. She was ecstatic. Anthony ended up staying that night at my place and I got no sleep b/c he told story on top of story on top of story.
I ended up ending the relationship I was in b/c in my heart I felt God pulling me in a different direction. It was a rough couple of months going to church and taking lots of criticism. But I got through it. My parents even thought I was crazy at first. I have always been someone to make quick and rash decisions, but I knew this one was the right one. A month later Anthony proposed. And then 7 months later we were married. Here we are a year into our relationship and we have 2 babies on the way and he will soon be adopting Jadon....
Anthony had to deal a lot with the courts, pay tons of fees and take classes due to the scuffle with his ex. During all this his ex sent many e-mails begging for him to come back to her. A couple months after Anthony and I got together his ex was arrested for the same thing that she got him arrested for on her new boyfriend.  I'm so glad that he is finally out of that situation and that God was able to work on his behalf.  Sometimes we go through things in life not understanding why, but in the end it was all worth it.  Im extremely thankful to now have a loving husband and father to my son. God has truly blessed us in this past year!  Can;t wait to see what the future holds =)

Day 47.... Rug Dr.

WEDNESDAY Feb. 16th:

This morning Anthony and I picked up a rug dr. so we can shampoo our carpets before the girls arrive. We are pretty sure that the landlord didnt shampoo them, b/c when Anthony asked her he caught her in a lie. So we are going to just do them ourselves.  We also started the Daniel Diet today. I'm really hoping that it will give me more energy and help me sleep better at night!!  My sister was induced this evening. So she should be having the baby tomorrow.

Only $14 to shampoo our own carpets (thanx to brad sprung for the shampoo and jen f. for the 50% off coupon) Stanley Steamer was gonna charge us $150.... oh were are such bargain shoppers ;)

Day 46....

TUESDAY Feb. 15th:

This morning I had a dr.'s appointment. They did a test to see if there were any signs of pre-term labor, but there wasn't. Anthony came home this afternoon and Jadon gave him a jumbo card that he made him. Im pretty sure Anthony was surprised and he liked it =) Jadon was super excited about giving it to him. This afternoon we took about a 6 hour nap, it was glorious!

Day 45.... Valentine's Day

MONDAY Feb. 14th:

Today was mine and Anthony's 1st Valentines Day... He was in Georgia so we didn't get to spend it together. Anthony got Jadon a stuffed dog and he got me a bear with chocolate and a very sweet card. I dont understand peoples hype over the holiday and spending so much money on their loved one to show "they care". Then there are the single people who seem to just suffer through the day. Kinda sad if you ask me.

Day 44.... Church

SUNDAY Feb 13th:

Today Jadon and I went to church. They had the bake sale and all my goodies sold =) The bake sale went pretty good I think.

Tonight the grammy's were on and let's just say there were way too many weirdos on tv!! What is Hollywood anymore?

Day 43.... Baked goodies

Well this morning we woke up and went to the air show in deland... Total waste of money if you ask me. I actually thought there would be REAL planes there. But to our surprise they were remote control planes. Jadon enjoyed it but Anthony and I were not huge fans.
Once we left I was having severe pressure and called my dr. I informed her of all of my symptoms I had been having since that morning and day prior and she told me to head to the hospital. They checked me out... No contractions, the heart beats were great.... I havent dilated yet either which is a good sign.  The outcome was that i was dehydrated and i was put on bed rest.
While we were there a lady gave birth to twins and she was only 32 weeks. Both babies were almost 4lbs and the nurse said they were doing great. That makes me feel a little better knowing she was only a week ahead of me.  I just hope these babies stay in at least another 4 weeks... I dont want them to be stuck in the hospital for any reason!!
Tonight I finished all my goodies for the bake sale tomorrow at church. My peanut butter cookies broke, so I guess that means they have to stay here =) I was unable to get strawberries for my cakes b/c target didnt have any... so the strawberry syrup will have to do. They are VERY yummy.... We tested them out already ;)

They dont look very beautiful BUT looks can be deceiving ;)

Day 42.... Stroller!!

Friday Feb. 11th:

Today has been a pretty good day. Anthony was able to fix our lawn mower... He's such a handy man!! He completely took the mower apart, put a new part in it, put it back together and wahla! It runs again =)  He mowed the lawn, which desperately needed it! Our grass is winter rye (spelling??) and grows super fast!! It needs mowed like once a week! The nice thing is that our grass is soooo green compared to the neighbors that dont have the same grass as us because their grass is all dead. lol but at least they dont have to mow every week!!

Our Snap n' Go stroller also came in today which was really exciting. I was able to put it all together while Jadon napped and Anthony mowed. We have pretty much everything we need except for the girls. No rush on them though! They will be here in  Gods perfect timing and be healthy little angels!!

it's humungo! it's gonna be like pushing a train around!!

Day 41.... Movie Night

Thursday Feb. 10th:

Tonight my husband, Jadon, and I went over to our friends Conrad and Megans place and watched the movie the town. It was pretty good, but definitely would have been a little better if the language wasn't so bad. I think that just ruins movies when every other word seems to be the "f" word.

Day 40.... Moms birthday

Wednesday Feb. 9th:

Today was my moms birthday. Jadon and I brought her over her birthday present... We gave her a sign that hangs on the wall saying "Nana & Papa's Nest.... Where the flock gathers", one of her favorite drinks (but pre-mixed) and Jadon said she would like a candy bar and picked out what he thought she'd like.(probably more of what he wanted and what he liked!)

Later that evening Anthony and my dad made it home. We cooked dinner and watched a movie. And that was pretty much it.

Day 39.... Productive Day

Today has been quite a productive day. I did some more decorating in the girls rooms, cleaned all the bathrooms and washed majority of the laundry.  Jadon took a late nap so he is still sleeping and its after 5. Im thinking I will probably start dinner soon... Anthony should be home probably early morning tomorrow. They got a load out of Tennessee so its taking them a little bit longer to get home. I don't think we will make it to church tonight just because Jadon has been coughing real bad and has a runny nose. Nothing too exciting except for being a little closer to seeing my husband!!

Day 38.... Dr visit with Jadon

This morning was HORRIBLE! Jadon was up majority of the night coughing so I decided to take him to see his dr.  Well his insurance decided to change his dr on me to someone else while we were in crystal river... He saw a walk-in dr. 1 time and thats all it took for them to change his dr on me. So I had to get on the phone while in the dr.s office to get it changed back to his original dr.... while im on the phone with the lady my phone ended up dieing on me.... The place was absolutely packed!!! Jadon was not cooperating with me at all! Its one of those settings where your child knows lots of people are around so he thinks he can get away with whatever he wants to because he basically knows there is nothing you can do about it.... The more I yelled at him the more I think I made myself look like an idiot... I ended up taking him to the bathroom to straighten him out and when we came out there were no seats to sit down. So prego and all we stood and waited! lol we got home ate breakfast and went back to bed so we could start the day OVER!!

(Pictures to follow as soon as I get new batteries for my camera to upload them!!)

Day 37.... Superbowl Sunday

Sunday Feb. 6th

This morning during church there was just a sweet sweet presence that filled the place during worship... God reminded me how much he truly loves me even after the mistakes i've made in my life. I'm so thankful for all that God has done in my life. He has truly blessed Anthony and I tremendously! I thankful for Anthony having a job and God providing for our every need.  I thankful that God has kept me and the babies healthy through this pregnancy and pray that they will arrive here safely.

This evening was the superbowl game. The Packers beat the Steelers... And Christine Aguilera goofed up on the National Anthem. Dont get me wrong, I think she has a GREAT singing voice no matter what others may say about her... She has her own style and she is all about making herself shine. Maybe next time she'll calm it down a bit so she remembers the words and realize the honor and privilege she was given to be up on that stage.

(no picture today)

Day 36.... Baby Shower!!

Saturday Feb. 5th

Today was my baby shower for the girls... WOW! We got a TON of stuff!! It was so great to see everyone there! My mom and family did a great job decorating and getting stuff ready as well as Sheila and Heather for games and food. It was a lot of fun. We finally got everything situated in the girls room and now I can say Im READY for the babies!! =)

Day 35.... Car seat Canopy

Friday Feb. 4th

Tonight family came in to help my mom decorate for the baby shower tomorrow. My aunt, g-ma and cousin were able to help me out with my first car seat canopy since i'm not very familiar with the sewing machine. It turned out super cute!!! Then I made my own once they were gone =)

(I made the teal one with no help! pretty difficult lol)

(My aunt, cousin, and g-ma helped make this lavender one it's also reversable)
