Day 31.... Blah!

So my husband still isn't home... Yes i'm having a pity party! Just deal with it. I can't help that I truly LOVE my husband and enjoy spending every minute with him. There just aren't enough hours in the day when he's here but when he's gone those missing hours get added into my days =/ Good news is that they are on their way home and he should be here tomorrow. 

Today was a pretty BLAH day. I spent all morning on the phone with a stupid call center just to be told to resubmit a new form. Jadon has been acting out to the EXTREME lately! I don't know if it's just because Anthony has been gone and he is not used to it or if it's just the age that he is right now. Hopefully once the girls are here and are a little bit older he wont be so bored lol. There are only so many movies we can watch and toys to play with, that I think we both get bored with them LOL.  Tonight we both had a cup of ice cream.... Probably my mistake giving it to him right before dinner, but after about 45 minutes he's almost finished his grilled cheese.  We took a nap today and slept till 5pm... lol I figured I would be wired by now, but honestly I could crawl back into bed.

Day 29.... 29 weeks

Well i'm officially 29 weeks pregnant.  I'm soooo ready for this to be over. It's pretty miserable not being able to wear your cool jeans and nice tanks. I know it's not too much longer, but it sure does seem like it.

Anthony is still gone and possibly wont be back til tuesday or wednesday =( This really BITES!! But he's gotta do what he's gotta do.

Day 28.... Boots

FRIDAY:

EVERYDAY my son gets a pair of my boots out and wears them throughout the day.

Day 27.... cheese balls

Today I spent pretty much all day cleaning house. It's pretty much a never ending job with a 2 year old and husband who wears 3 outfits a day. Laundry is still going but other than that everything looks and smells pretty good. I tried mowing the lawn today until the mower decided to quit working when I was finished with half of the yard. So now, Jadon is awake. I'm updating my blogs.... And we are "trying" to share a bowl of cheese balls. Every time I grab some he says "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

Day 26.... A day with my loves

WEDNESDAY:

This morning my husband got home. It's our only day we really get to spend together before he leaves on the road again. I made a late breakfast then we took an afternoon nap. Later in the evening we went to the mall. Found some really good deals and used our JC Penny giftcard. We bought Jadon this little indoor/outdoor tent with a tunnel for only $6.00 (originally $40)!!  He's been playing in it ever since we got home.

While at the mall we let Jadon get rid of all his energy in their newly remodeled play area.

Day 25.... 3rd Trimester

TUESDAY:
Well folks i'm finally in my 3rd trimester.  I had an ultra sound done today and both babies are right at 3lbs. It's amazing to watch twins in an ultra sound. Both babies are really healthy and growing great. One little girl is longer than the other one, but dr. said that could be due to one of them taking after me and the other after my husband. I'm so anxious to see what they will look like and to see if there is any resemblance with Jadon. I know he is excited b/c he is always asking me if he can read to the babies. And when he is laying on me he says "don't hurt the babies?" He is also concerned when I walk around limping holding my side. He says "Is mommy hurtin?"  lol He knows that things are different and that we will soon have 2 babies. He tries to convince me that there is 3 though. Anytime we are at the store looking at baby stuff, he asks if it's for the "girls". Its really sweet but i'm sure once they are here, he might be a little overwhelmed as well =)

Now a days i'm feeling pretty sluggish. It's hard to get up out of bed or roll over. I love sleeping on my stomach and I haven't been able to for a while now and it's sooooo uncomfortable! 

During my appointment another lady had previously had to eggs implanted... Well both eggs split and they each fertilized so now she is having 4 babies! How crazy would that be??  I thank GOD that wasn't me! 

Day 24.... Rough Day

WOW! Today has just been one of those days! I got a lot accomplished today, but goodness gracious my child has been horrible. He seems to be so good when Anthony is here. I just don't understand why he tends to get out of control with me. He has gotten to the point where he will not take a nap unless I lay down with him. Which I dont mind taking naps with him, just sometimes "nap time" is the only time I can get some things done. He wouldn't take a nap today, so he sat in his room for 3 hours and finally I let him come out. I fixed dinner and then he purposely poured him apple juice onto his plate (something he would NEVER do if Anthony were home!).... So I cleaned the kitchen up, we took a shower and I put him in my bed. I prayed with him tonight then tried to explain how his behavior today was inappropriate. I then read the Bible to him and he quietly listened and fell fast sleep after about 5 minutes. GEEZ! Is that all it took? Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Day 23.... He loves me ;)

This morning my husband left for Ga. It really sucks him not being here to go to church on Sundays, but hey we gotta pay the bills. Anytime he leaves he usually leaves me a sweet little message on the fridge or on the table to let me know where he went if maybe I was sleeping or something.

Day 22.... Manatee Festival

Did pretty well considering we made back everything we paid in for supplies and then some. Super cold day out but well worth the time spent with my husband and in-laws.

Day 21... Bath Time

Tonight my baby boy is stayin with Nana and Papa while Anthony and I are in Crystal River for the manatee festival... Sure will miss that lil' booger!

Day 20.... Busy Bee

Ok so I have skipped a couple of days. I have been super busy lately to even update. Im now entering into my 28th week of pregnancy and it BITES! My hormones are so out of whack! Im so emotional I could seriously lay in bed and just cry all day. Im so ready for this to be over with. I hate being pregnant but thank God for the blessings afterwards.

Anthony and my dad were stuck in Ga. for a couple of days due to the snow storm they had. But  they are back and will be heading out in a couple of days. I've been working in the nursery at church and thats been fun. Changing the little babies is so difficult lol  Never really had a problem with Jadon so im trying to get back in the swing of things.  Even measuring out bottles, it's completely left my brain!

Next week I go for another ultra sound and another dr. appt. Hopefully we can set a date soon of when these babies can be here.

Ok so here is my picture for the day.... Lately this thing seems impossible to use!! I guess my husband will just have to get used to hairy legs for a little while longer HAHAHA

Day 17.... 11 months!!

Today my husband and I have been together for 11 months. Man how time flies! I can't believe it has almost been a year! Some people stay together for years before actually committing their lives to each other. I'm so glad  that we took a step out in faith and trusted God and each other and just new it was what God wanted. I'm so happy that I have found my soul mate. Never in my life have I ever been more happy in a relationship than I am now.  I know that we were destined for each other. And both of us walked a long dirty road to finally get to each other. "I guess you have to know what sour is before you can know whats sweet." 

(got that off of a movie today lol).

Tonight my husband is cooking dinner. He's making steaks, rice, corn and green beans. He pulled out 3 cans of corn and 3 cans of green beans. Let me remind you that ONLY 3 of us are eating and one of those 3 is a TODDLER. He pours 2 cans of corn into a small pan and the 3rd wouldn't fit. But he had already opened all the cans. I tried to tell him that it was WAAAAY too much food and he insisted that it wasn't. lol  Soooo here  is our large pot of corn that i'm sure we will be eating for the next 3 days.

Day 16.... Haircut

Jadon got a haircut today because daddy couldn't take it much longer....

Day 15.... Coupons

Went to the coupon class this morning. Learned lots of cool tips and tricks. 

*** It's so nice to see how much Jadon picks up on things at home. He is getting so smart. This morning I was getting ready and he was playing in his car. He said "mommy im leaving. see you later". I said "ok have fun". Then he says "mommy give me a kiss". I kissed him. Then he says "I love you mommy be back later". and he scooted away in his car.  Then tonight after dinner I asked him to clean his play room. I was cleaning the kitchen and heard alot of ruckus in the play room. I figured he was playing. Then I hear him say "Good job. Mommy is so proud of you:" He came in the kitchen to let me know his playroom was all clean. I check and sure enough everything was put away! I told him good job. Then he asked "Mommy's so proud?"  It was the sweetest thing!

Day 14... Old toys

Anthonys mom kept alot of Anthonys old toys that he played with when he was a little boy. So now Jadon has inherited them and is loving them! They are metal toys... Now a days they have the plastic toys. He got a fire truck, semi, tractor and a jeep.

Day 13... Car seats

THURSDAY

So we picked the girls seats up today. They aren't exactly girly (they are blue and purple) but with the price we paid im not complaining!! We got them hooked in and boy oh boy we have no room left! We might have to do some rearranging b/c its really hard getting Jadon in and out of the back. 

As I looked back I just could not believe we had 3 car seats in the car! I just can't believe we are fixing to go from 1 child to 3 in a matter of just a few months. I know it will be an awesome experience for both Anthony and I. I'm so excited for them to be here and I just pray for strength and energy to be able to handle all the kids!

Day 12.... Redbox

Tonight was a chili and redbox kinda night

Went in to check on Jadon after Anthony tucked him in and he was histerical. I walked in and said whats wrong?? He said we need to pray mommy. So I prayed with him then he asked for a hug. Now he's quiet. Children can melt your heart! <3

Day 11.... Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

So my son basically eats anything that is put in front of him. We have gotten soooo lucky with him not being a picky eater! He eats things that I wouldn't even eat that Anthony gives to him. Liver, brussel sprouts, gizzards, you name it he's probably eaten it!  Well today I fixed him a grilled cheese and some left over pasta, and I had a grilled cheese with tomato soup. He insisted on having my soup. So I poured him cup and sure enough he devoured it! 

Day 10.... 3 months!!

Well today is 3 months since my husband and I have been married. Right now he is stuck in Georgia due to a snow storm. =(   Married life is GREAT! I wouldn't want things any other way. The single life is not for me! lol

Day 9.... Flower Headbands

So about a month ago I decided I was going to start making headbands for when the girls were born. The price to buy them was just outrageous for the really cute ones. Today I finally sat down to start making them and they are turning out soooo adorable!! Right now I only have pictures of the flowers. But there are clips on the back of the flowers for you to attach them to a headband. Tomorrow I will have a little model to show you what they look like on the baby. Im so excited about making them. Today I literally spent 7 hours on them! Hope you enjoy them!! They would make a great baby shower/birthday/valentines day gift.... They aren't just for babies. They are for little girls too!! Day 8.... Day w/ the inlaws

Ok so today I dont have a picture. My batteries in my camera died =(

My in-laws came over today and we had a blast! This morning I cooked my hunny and Jadon some eggs and biscuits and gravy then we went to Daytona to spend the day. We went to the flea market b/c my in-laws had never been to the one in Daytona and we got some really cool stuff.  I bought the girls some flower bows for their hair that I cant wait for them to wear!!  We then went to  Burlington Coat Factory and got some really cute socks to match their bows. Then we went to the beach and ate at Sloppy Joes. Soooo yummy! 

When we got home we realized someone had come over and trimmed our bushes. To our surprise it was my dad!! He said he didnt have anything going on so while waiting on a phone call he came over and cut our bushes. HOW NICE!!  Now we are home and just relaxing. Fixing to hit the hay and call it a night!! <3

Day 7.... Fireplace

Well here we are at day 7. I have gone a full week without missing a post. We shall see how long I can keep this going before the girls get here. Today I have cleaned, done laundry, napped, and now i'm making lasagna for dinner. My husband and Jadon just made our first fire in the fireplace since being in our new home. Hopefully it will warm the place up a little bit. I had to turn the heat on earlier today because I was FREEZING!! It was 62 degrees in our house. OUCH!  My in-laws will be here tomorrow. We are pretty excited about that!! Some friends will be here shortly to enjoy dinner with us and watch a movie. Little man is playing in his playroom and im just writing my blog =)

Day 6.... Takeya

Today I cleaned the car inside and out! It was WAY over due! It looks so nice and smells so fresh! While cleaning the car Jadon was playing in the yard. He got into something and it has given him a HORRIBLE rash on his butt and upper legs. I feel so bad for him b/c he has been walking bow-legged ever since it appeared.

Anthony worked all day, and after cleaning out the car Jadon and I slept for a few hours. Then tonight we went to dinner with my parents at Takeya. It was yummy, but im extremely full!! This was the first time Jadon has been to a Japanese Steak House and he really enjoyed it =)

Then we went to return a dvd at red box just to find out when we got home that we forgot the actual dvd. So now we well be charged for returning the movie late and also be charged for a replacement case. Oh gotta love red box $1 movies =)

Day 5....

You know when you're little and you always play house, or you dream of playing house. And being a mommy, having a husband, cooking dinner washing clothes..... the whole nine yards. Well can I just say it's much funner as an adult when you actually get to do it and its real and not pretend!

This morning I woke up and fixed breakfast for my loves, finished all the laundry and cleaned the kitchen. Anthony then helped Jadon clean up his play room and show him how and where to put all his toys.

Then the contractions began. I wasn't really sure what it was at first. I was having some pretty sharp pains in my stomach. Almost like period cramps to the max. We decided to wait them out to see if they would stop before making any decisions to go see the dr. They eventually went away and things were fine.

We took Jadon to the park and he had a good time. No other kids were there so he probably felt lonely playing by himself. I will really be excited when the girls are old enough for him to play with. He definitely needs some buddies.

We have also been trying to potty train Jadon, but not pushing it because when he's ready he will do it. Well he told Anthony that he needed to poop so we put him on the potty and sure enough, he went! lol He compares himself to my parents dog Tebow. He says "look! like tebow!" lol Also any time he hurts himself he will say that Tebow did it. Even when we arent at my parents house. So I can only imagine how much trouble he will try and get the girls in =)

Finally Jadon is back on his normal routine. Its amazing that when we are in our own place he listens sooooo much better! All we have to do is say "ok its time for bed" and he goes without arguing. (Unless friends are over of course lol)  But it has definitely been a burden lifted off of Anthony and I by finally getting our own place again.

Tonight its raining and its been really peaceful with no plans and getting to spend time together. Jadon is in his playroom and Anthony is in the kitchen fixing steak and pasta. Then we are gonna watch a couple of movies =)

Anytime I dont answer he then refers to me as Baby or Brittany to get my attention. LOL

Day 4....

Today hasn't been so bad. Started this morning off with tons of errands. Then went to my parents house for a little bit to wait for Anthony to get off of work. Then went to the grocery store, came home and has our first family meal in our new place. Forgot I was supposed to be in the nursery tonight. For some reason it didnt register that it was Tuesday night and not Sunday. BUT I am still trying to get over what ever this junk is I got. So maybe it wasnt such a bad thing not being there around the children =/

Anthony and I were able to more things put away around the house. Now all we really have left to do is hang pictures and different little things. We hung our first wedding picture up today over the fireplace. Still looks kinda plain. We need to add more around it. Also I was able to find the journal Anthony got me for Mothers Day that I never started. So today was the 1st for that as well =)

Right now im lounged on the couch with Jadon laying on my lap. Anthony has fish and music on the tv. Pretty relaxing!!

Day 3....

Well last night I had a few friends over. We played monopoly for 4 HOURS! lol It was a lot of fun to say the least. Heather stayed the night with me since it was my first night by myself, and I'm  wimp when it comes to staying alone!!  Went to sleep about 1am..... Coughed the ENTIRE night!  Woke up this morning not feeling so great. Tried calling a local Dr.'s office to get seen instead of having to go to the ER, but since i'm pregnant with twins no one would see me b/c I am high risk. So off to the ER I went. Was pretty much in and out. They sent me to the 3rd floor, which is the maternity floor.... Ended up leaving with a script for a ZPAK and some robitussin. They didnt really diagnose anything so I guess it wasnt too bad. But I did find out that I could be delivering as early as 6 weeks. YIKES! I'm really not ready for this yet. Also I was finally accepted into Dr. Dasilva's office today... So she will be delivering these babies!  Anyways.. Today wasn't too enjoyable. Been hacking all day, I now have a migraine and pretty much just want to crawl in bed.

Day 2....

Well this morning my husband left really early for work. Jadon and I were able to sleep in =)  I woke up not feeling so great... Now I think it's just a sore throat.
Today was a good day because I was able to get our wedding pictures. That was really exciting!!  We pretty much lounged around for the majority of the day and did a little bit of unpacking and also took a nap.  Then we got all showered and are currently watching Thomas the Train.

Favorite saying from Jadon today... As we were taking a shower he says... "Mommy can 'Nanon' (Jadon) pee in the 'fower' (shower)"   ...lol the funny thing is that he is always referring to himself in 3rd person!
.....Then as I got Jadon in his superman jammies he wanted to know where mommies superman was. LOL

Day 1....

To all of my friends and family... Many of my facebook friends started doing this Project 365 a few months back. I decided to wait and thought today would be a good day to start. If you want to join me and do the same thing it would be great so I could keep up with you all as well!

To start off the new year my husband and Jadon decided to sleep in. I on the other hand got up and continued unpacking. Once we were all up and going we headed to my parents house to spend the day. While Anthony slaved away in the kitchen w/ my mom, I played with Jadon outside then took a nice long nap.
